Updates! Updates! Updates!
Hey Y’all! It’s been MONTHS since I last posted but not a lot has been happening. We continue to save $$ and learn German but the past couple of days we have started taking some major strides in planning and budgeting. We have toyed with moving our date up from September to late spring/early summer. I would love that because we would be there during the World Cup which be incredible and then Oktoberfest! Of course, this could change. Things are alwaysss changing but the goal isn’t. We’re doing this. We are also deciding where we want to live. My heart keeps pulling me to Berlin and that pull is strong. I think a lot about Freiburg in the Black Forest which would be amazing but Berlin, you guys, would fit us perfectly. You can’t beat €400 ($490) rent in a capital city. We pay that now in the middle of NOWHERE. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun yet it can speak to my old soul with fine museums and Berlin Philharmonic. I literally cannot wait to live there. ...
